Animals
There are also many animals that live in forests. It would've been a turkey, but instead it is....... the Bald Eagle! Yes, he lives in the forest. The Bald Eagle has a lot of adaptations, but I love this one: (mostly because it involves baby birds) The Bald Eagle lays up to two eggs and guards them with their life. I think it is just good parenting. And of coarse, the platypus. They are so cute, but very dangerous. The coolest thing about the platypus is that it stores energy in it's tail. My all time favorite is the squirrel. This one to the left is a white squirrel. The squirrel has adapted to the forest by being fast runners and hiding food for the winter.
